Coconut Ridge Candle Refill Policy & Pricing

If you have provided your own jar/s for refilling no responsibility is taken by us (Coconut Ridge) as to the structure and suitability of the vessel.

Please keep in mind, that we’ve done (and continue to do) a considerable amount of wick testing for our vessels. When provided with custom refill vessels we make an educated guess as to the wick size that will work however, as we haven’t been able to test wicks in your own vessels, you may not have a perfect burning candle.

Every effort is made to ensure your candle performs as it should however, no guarantees are made on the final product.

All jars provided for refill must be cleaned and free from any residual wax. Please note that the metal wick base can remain if unable to be removed.

Coconut Ridge has the right to refuse refilling any vessel deemed (in our opinion) unsuitable for refill or supplied unclean.

Pricing

Coconut Ridge refills are charged at $7.50 per 100gms of wax. $7.50 is the minimum charge per refill regardless of size. Pricing is then rounded to the nearest 50gms wax. (Eg. Vessel holds 450g wax = $33.75. Refills can me made in the scent of your choice, from the available scents listed on our website.

Cleaning methods

Hot Water Method:

• Fill your candle jar with boiling water, leaving some space at the top. Allow the hot water to sit in the jar until the wax starts to separate from the sides.
• Once the water has cooled down, the wax will solidify on the surface. Carefully remove the wax disc from the top of the water and throw in the trash.
• After removing the wax, wash the jar with hot, soapy water.

Freezer Method:

• Place your candle jar in the freezer for a few hours or overnight.
• Use a spoon or knife to pop out the wax. The cold temperature causes the wax to contract and harden.
• Clean out any remaining residue then wash the jar with hot, soapy water.
